Parking was good and check in quick with friendly staff. However whole hotel smells dirty due to old stained carpets that should have been replaced a long time ago. My room floor was terrible and smelt bad. Bed was comfy and looked clean however. At breakfast someone had mixed up jam with ketchup so ended up sweet with jam on my cooked breakfast, staff just looked confused when I pointed out jar was not ketchup and just kept pointing to the sign that said ketchup, so I must be wrong!, Overall, I would never stay here again.

We have stayed here a few times. This time the bedroom carpet was disgustingly filthy!! I di not want to put my bare feet on it. Despite the staff being lovely, this and the fact that they charge £1:95 for 250ml of still water (I can buy 3000ml for that price), I will not be using them again. Plus the door handle was faulty, I had to open it from the inside, because the door know would not work properly, for my huband, tryin to get back in.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Room clean and bed comfy. Could do with triple glazing but noise to be expected near M6. Plenty of free parking
