The night manager gave me a hard time about arriving after hours, but had been driving for three days from Scotland so it hasn’t hard to estimate my arrival. Eventually he accommodated my needs but it was not the warm welcome I had hoped for after a long trip.

The hotel was a but dark and gloomy+the surroundings were a but lonely. The breakfast was normal and the room was comfortable. Hotel overall good for it's price and close to the highway if passing through.

The hotel is on the edge of a residential area and the rooms at the rear look onto a park and lake. We had a superior room with a small balcony where there two chairs and a table; very pleasant, as it was 39 degrees Celsius when we were there. However, the hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment and modernisation. We are unlikely to stay there again.
